After work, I'm going to look at a loft apartment and it's completely beautiful. Other people will be looking at it, and probably find it equally beautiful, so I need to amp up the charm. Perhaps an offer of a blow-jay, if he's not too ugly? This place is pretty much perfect in every way, and we need a perfect in every way house, bigtime. Plus, we're allowed to bring the mister with us (not like our current residence where he lives like Anne Frank), on the condition he also charm Landlord Reid, as he would like to meet him first. Unfortunately, Marx lacks the anatomy and know-how to blow anyone, so Shai will have to step up. The things we do for our pets!
Went to a house party with Lexci and finally met Dirk, Alissa, Jackee, Jeff, and Mike. A lot of new faces, but it didn't end there because today, we had "Crazy Soup" and were joined by Vyky, who had to "work" or something. I couldn't participate in the great deal of shop talk that was going on, but I learned some stuff and was amused and delighted, nonetheless. In spite of being downright terrified of meeting ten bajillion of the cool kids in one fell swoop, it was pretty rad.
My only regret is that I didn't get to witness the domestic violence in my home that led to the giant hole in the foyer's wall. Ah well, you win some, you lose some.
He's also excited because I promised him a horse ride on Kevin's mother's farm. He won't be able to travel around anywhere, but she'll saddle up D.C. and trot him around the yard for a while, which, for Rob, will be a giant step up from being led around a rodeo yard by a cowboy.
I'm very excited to see my sister and mama. My dad has also decided to have "dinner. Or drinks. Or dinner and drinks!" with he and I at some point. It's unfortunate that Rob would never take Friday off, as well, because that would make this trip about 10 million times better, being that I'd have Friday and Saturday night with the family. Mahwell, beggers can't be choosers.
